David Terrill

David Terrill is a Kansas City-based artist. He began his artistic journey working in an Ohio steel mill while attending Miami University, ultimately becoming a Professor of Illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute.

David enjoys family travel and recording the adventures in his sketchbook. One adventure led to China, where they traveled 1,400 miles by train to reside in a Beijing Hutong and hiked the Great Wall, sleeping in an ancient watchtower.

Terrill’s work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Communication Arts, The Society of Illustrators, Los Angeles and, 3X3 International Contemporary Illustration Show.
